Sony Reveals Alpha 7 II for United States


Market tech giant Sony unveils Alpha II camera, which is an updated version Alpha 7 a mirror-less full-frame camera. The camera was announced it Japan last week, now they are releasing it in U.S.


Sony has enhanced the current internal features of Alpha 7 II providing a boost in the stabilization system, enhanced faster auto-focus, and a better support for high bitrate XAVC S video.

It's the first time, that a mirror-less camera is paired with a full-frame sensor. There's a stabilization system that corrects the lens on 5 axes, and works with the lenses providing integrated stabilization.

This camera can also work with those lenses that aren't manufactured by Sony, for example if you attach third party native camera lens like Carl-Zeiss with the help of a mechanical adapter, then still the stabilization system will work to continue. It's required to provide the focal length of the lens to the camera.


The Alpha 7 II's autofocus is enhanced and now it's 30% more faster than it's predecessor. It has also an improved tracking system that allows camera to focus for every shot 5fps rate.

The Alpha 7 II is currently priced at $1,699, the same as the Alpha 7, but only the body else $1,999 alongwith 28-70mm lens. The body of original Alpha 7 is available at a reduced price of $1,299 or $1,599 with 28-70mm lens.

Sony Planning To Prepare an e-Paper Smartwatch


Sony is planning to work on a smartwatch that is said to be made-up of an entire loop of e-paper, and as per some trusted sources, they also have the knowledge of inside story.


According to the sources, Sony has started working on this innovative plan, but it's not going to announce it yet. Sony's e-paper is not going to compete with the market giant's Apple Watch or Samsung's wearable devices, but it's going to display the remarkable desing and an array of features.

The e-Paper watch is ready to display plenty of resposibilities such as it's going to use the entire surface as the display and will provide more features rather than just basic text and alerts.

Google Launches Google Fiber in Austin, Texas - $70 Per Month


Google Fiber now comes to Austin, Texas, as this is the third city where Google Fiber is getting launched and also the city is biggest in terms of population.


Similar to the Kansas fiber model, Google will also plan three separate residential options. Google Fiber is also planning to built more fiberhoods for education and research facilities.

The three Fiber options includes:

  • A downloading speed of 5Mbps and 1Mbps for uploading speed for free with one-time $300 installation fee.
  • 1Gbps fiber internet for mere $70 per month.
  • 1Gbps fiber internet, 150 channels to access and 1TB cloud storage for $130 per month.

The first option is available to anyone, who instantly wants an internet connection for free. This scheme is good for people with rental properties, allowing their tenants to use internet with a new package available from Google.

The second and the third options are high-speed broadband options for those who need 1 Gbps fiber optic speed. Currently, Google Fiber is the only one to provide such high-speed internet. Other service providers like Verizon and Comcast provide internet speed under 300Mbps and under 50Mbps is certain areas.

Feather-Weight Bike Folds Into The Backpack


It's ultra feather-weight, it can be folded and backpacked and can be taken anywhere. It's the new light-weight electric bicycle in the arena that can be folded, and they call it "Impossible".


This "Impossible" bicycle is actually not a bicycle, but technically, it's more like a battery-powered electric scooter. To make it a pedal-less and chain-less was key idea of the development team so that it could be light as a feather.

This folding Impossible bike is more like a folding bike rather than an electric scooter. This light-weight bike is made-up of carbon fiber equipments attached with a load bearing connection-box that is made of heavier steel.


The current model of the bike can carry up-to 180 pounds of weight, while the other upcoming models of this bike may have the capacity to carry upto 250 pounds. Currently the weight of the bike has kept as a secret, though the company has revealed within footage that the folded bike's height is approx 17 inches.

The bike is equipped with an electric motor and rechargeable batteries, that can go with a speed of 12 mph for around 45 minutes. A fully charged bike can go around an hour and a half and the braking mechanism can done by pushing a brake button in the handle bar.

IBM & Nvidia Team-up To Build World's Fastest Supercomputer


The US energy department will spend $325 million in collaboration with IBM, Nvidia and Mellanox to create the world's fastest supercomputers, Sierra and Summit by 2017.

According to some trusted sources, the supercomputer with two GPU acceleration will be composed of OpenPower chips by IBM, the latest graphic chip Volta, by Nvidia and the high speed network system by Mellanox to club everything together.

Summit is developed for civilian and scientific purpose at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Tennessee, it's more powerful compared to the other supercomputer and can deliver 150 to 300 peak petaflops.


On the other hand, Sierra is believed to deliver above 100 peak petaflops and its purpose is to serve in nuclear weapons simulations at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Both the supercomputers will be the next champs crushing all the prevailing supercomputers. Titan by Oak Ridge holds the US record at 27 peak petaflops and China's Tianhe-2 holds the world at 55 peak petaflops.

IBM is also experimenting a new technique called "Data Centric" approach, using this technique the computing power can reside everywhere data is placed, and moreover it can minimize the motion date and energy consumption as well.
