Microsoft is planning to
launch Windows 10's consumer version within the late January of 2015,
according to a report by Verge.
Microsoft earlier unveiled
it's latest operating system in an event in San Francisco in
September. The main focus of Microsoft will be on business
applications and several applications that would be the successor of
Windows 8.
The Verge in its website
announced that Microsoft will unveil its major Windows 10 update in
January, after the Consumer Electronics Show, but it didn't announced
the date of the event or even venue for unveiling the Windows 10
consumer's version.
At the late January event,
Microsoft will also "detail its plans for Windows phones and
tablets, and possibly dashboard updates for its Xbox One gaming
console," the Verge reported.
It wasn't clear if those
rumored revelations tie in with Windows 10, but the site noted that
"Windows 10 is designed to run across multiple devices,
including PCs, tablets, phones, and the Xbox One ."
Windows 10 for consumers
will feature more significant and dynamic features campared to
Windows 10 for business. Earlier it was named as Windows 10, to skip
"9", after the successor Windows 8.
