Free Xbox Music on Web Launched by Microsoft


Microsoft is availing free Xbox music services on the web including people who don't use Windows. Microsoft has initiated this concept to compete with other companies offering music such as Pandora and iTunes.

It is a huge leap by Microsoft by becoming an industry that just not only sell softwares but also provides online services, by Michael Turits, senior analyst with the advisory firm called Raymond James. The buyers of Windows 8 operating system has also discovered Xbox as it's default music player and according to Jerry Johnson, currently the general manager of Xbox music, as the community will grow broader, more people will come to see the benefits of numerous devices connected to Microsoft but it is very important to bring the people into it.


Xbox music will soon be availabe to other mobile platforms too and Microsoft is updating its version by reducing the size of the cover and adding multiple tabs to enhance the features and manage playlists.
