Apple has recently bought the Sapphire deal worth $578 in a Mr Burns-esque deal in February month, and it clearly shows that Apple will use it in iPhone 6 display and would be far better improvement than Gorilla Glass.
According to the newly leaked video
from Marques Brownlee, the display is of 4.7-inch iPhone 6 going
through all sorts of damages done on it.
As in the video you can see him
scratching the surface of the display with keys, stabbing it with
knife and bending it excessively more than 90 degrees, but
acknowledging with no damages.
Apple has also used the sapphire
earlier in creating the lens of the camera and also the cover of the
fingerprint scanner, but it's the first instance that Apple is using
sapphire on a very large scale.
It's expected that the both iPhone 5.5
inch and 4.7 inch will have the sapphire display, and according to
the rumors, Apple will launch the most awaited iPhone 6 in mid
September 2014.
