Festo's insect-inspired robots act like the real things


German automation company Festo is known for taking cues from nature when designing robots. This time, it has revealed futuristic-looking bionic ants, realistic robotic butterflies and a silicone gripper based on chameleons' tongue.

Rumors Depicting iPhone 7: Release Date and Specs


Apple is expected to release three iPhones this year, according to a report from Taiwan's DigiTimes. The sources have news regarding Apple introducing new iPhones 6S, iPhone 6S Plus and a four inch device known iPhone 6C.


According to the report, "All of the handsets will come equipped with LTPS panels and supply for the iPhone 6S Plus and iPhone 6C will come from Japan Display, Sharp and LG Display while that for the iPhone 6S will come from Japan Display and LG".

Moreover the iPhone 6C is going to be manufactured by Wistron company, while the 6S series will be assembled by Foxconn Electronics and Pegatron. All the three devices will have a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 alongwith NFC and finger-print scanner. The iPhone 6S and 6S Plus will have a A9 chip, while iPhone 6C will be equipped with A8 chip.


As for the latest iPhone 7 is concerned, people have already started guessing about its features. iPhone 7 may have an improved camera and a 3d display. As per the report, iPhone 7 may have dual lens system to capture the images just like DSLR.

As to the phone's processor, the report said Samsung will supply Apple's A9 processor for its next-generation smartphones. The report also said that Samsung will supply three quarters of the A9 chips to be used for the iPhone 7.

Huawei Unveils Honor 6 Plus Exclusively on Flipkart


As per the reports stated earlier, Huawei is coming-up with its latest 4G phones by March ending. The company has launched two smartphones in India, Honor 6 Plus and Honor 4X priced at Rs. 26,499 and Rs. 10,499 respectively, exclusively on Flipkart.


The Honor 6 Plus phablet sports a 5.5-inch full-HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels of resolution. Under the hood, it comes powered by a 1.8GHz HiSilicon Kirin 925 octa-core processor and Mali-T628 GPU, coupled with 3GB of RAM. The dual-SIM smartphone gets 32GB onboard storage, expandable via microSD card.

The Honor 6 Plus has a front camera with 8MP dual lens, dual flash with rear snapper. It also has an 8MP front facing camera. It's equipped with the latest Android 4.4 Kitkat with a layer of Huawei’s Emotion UI 3.0. The connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth and GPS. A 3600mAh battery completes the package.


Huawei’s budget device, the Honor 4X also comes with a 5.5-inch IPS display, but features 720 x 1280p HD resolution. It is powered by a 64-bit 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor and Adreno 306 GPU, along with 2GB of RAM.

The 8GB internal storage can be expanded via the microSD card slot. It gets a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera. The Honor 4X comes fitted with a 3000mAh battery.
