Chevrolet Reveals 900 Horsepower Concept Car, Capable Of Achieving 240 mph Speed

This is the future of racing cars as laser has been used as an alternate of combustion engines, and only the cockpit is displayed above the driver's helmet.

Earlier Chevrolet designed this concept car "Chapparral 2X Vision Gran Tursimo (VGT)" for Playstation 3 racing game, but now they have built a real model and displayed it at LA Auto Show. Chevrolet is confirmed that in future this car can make it to the roads.

 

In the game, the car can achieve a top speed of 240 mph with an acceleration of 0-60 miles in 1.5 seconds. This car has explored the vision and ambition of Chevy's engineering skills and how they can demonstrate the technologies of tomorrow. 

The Chevrolet Chapparral Gran Tursimo is an exceptional piece with a unique shape and design alongwith an advanced laser equipped propulsion system. It includes a an highly advanced propulsion system that includes a mid-mounted laser beam, which creates laser beams generating the tremendous amount of thrust achieving lightning speed.

It has driver-enabled aerodynamics that avoids the need of large conventinal wings, and it helps to reduce the extra mass to generate a mind-blowing speed.

Growing Expectations of Apps for Apple Watch

Apple watch is still a few months away, and the developers have already started developing apps for the wrist. Let's see what the app developers are planning.

On Tuesday, Apple unveiled the software toolkit of Apple watch for developers, it helps developers to create some innovative Apple watch apps similar to those of mobile but for a different platform, such as vibrations and on-screen notifications.

The alert notifications can be responded directly from the watch, without using your iPhone. The CEO of Instagram, Kevin Systrom says that the alert messages such as liking a picture or commenting can be done directly from the watch.

There are even Glances, which are another type of notification that flashes the screen, quite similar to breaking news or an appointment reminder. American Airlines (AAL) will provide such Glances for flight timings and other updates.

Yet developers are unable to create apps that can be exclusively used by the watch, but Apple says that can be possible later in 2015. The watch is more often to be launched in early 2015, so there will be a plenty of time for the device to run on Apple apps.
