Next iPhone Could Be A Complete Waterproof

With Apple expected to disclose more details about the Apple Watch on March 9, consumers are already exciting to see the next-generation iPhone 7.

The Cupertino-based tech giant recently filed a patent at the United States Patent and Trademark Office describing different methods for waterproofing the iPhone, iPad and MacBook.

In a new patent published this month, and shared on Patently Apple, the company explores the use of a two-part design to make a waterproof iPhone without the need for a case. This waterproof coating is applied to the electromagnetic interference shield as well as to the printed circuit board in the smartphone.

Last month, Apple CEO Tim Cook said the Apple Watch could be worn in the shower, which means it's water resistant; however, whether that watch is waterproof is still a burning question.

Having a waterproof iPhone could be an awesome feature. Samsung and Sony have both managed to successfully integrate waterproofing on mobile devices.

Top Tips & Tricks To Enhance Your iPhone Battery Life

No-one likes if the battery life of their iPhone is exhausted within much less time of their expectation. Apple is good at squeezing maximum performance out of the hardware in the iPhone and that's one of the reasons that the iPhone's battery is comparatively small.

Here are a few simple tips you can follow to get a whole lot more juice from your Apple smartphone.

Keep a check on signal strength

If you're in an area with a poor signal then you might consider switching Airplane mode on, which stops the constant searching that sucks the life from your phone.

Try using Wi-Fi instead of cellular data whenever its possible, as that provides a better and stable connection reducing the battery usage searching for a signal.

Turn-off the app notification

Some apps will spam you with pointless notifications. Every one of them is sucking down some battery life, so cut them off at the source. Go to settings > notification centre and tap on any apps you don't want notifications from.

Modify Display Settings

Your display is costly to power, so you want it to shut down quickly when you aren't using it.
Go to Settings > General > Auto-lock and see if you can live with a shorter time before the screen auto-locks.
You should also head to Settings > Wallpaper & brightness and turn 'Auto-brightness' off to save some battery. Set the brightness of your screen as low as possible and adjust it to high, only when needed, as this will save a better chunk of battery.

Remove animated backgrounds

You don't need dynamic backgrounds and parallax, '3D' effects. They're fun but they're munching your power. Pick a static image or a favorite photo in Settings > Wallpapers & Brightness, then choose 'Wallpaper' and turn 'Reduce Motion' on in Settings > General > Accessibility.

Reduce refreshing the background

People imagine that swiping apps closed in the multitasking menu is saving power, but you really need to be taking a look in Settings > General > Background App refresh to really make a difference.

These apps still refresh when you actually load them up, which is a lot more efficient for your battery.
