Apple Unveiling New Smart Products & Updates at WWDC 2014


Apple announced some latest products and updates at World Wide Developer Conference 2014 in San Francisco, most of which will be available before the end of this year.

This time Apple has introduced a new "Smart Home" technology that allow users to control gadgets or any electronic appliances from a single device. Various products that will work with it has been listed on CNET, products such as Philips Hue lighting system, a weather station, door locks and baby monitors.

Another remarkable feature is Apple Health, as it will integrate data from fitness related firms such as Nike. Apple executive Craig Federighi said that it will be a beginning in health and wellness technology.

Apple also updated its Mac operating system OSX, also named as Yosemite and new iOS for iPhone and iPad with new feature to exchange files with-an-ease.

Now sharing would be a lot easier as you can share songs, videos, books and other important files between you mac and other iOS devices within a blink of an eye.

At the end, when Apple announced the new way of programming platform, it received great laud of applause from the audience of software developers.

"We have a new programming language. The language is called Swift and it totally rules," said Federigh.

This programming platform is designed to make programming faster and more secure for developers. There is also a guide available in iBooks for developers to assist them in developing iOS apps with much accuracy.

Mesmerizing Mac Design:

The new Mac operating system "Yosemite" will have a translucent design and that will showcase complete new look at your calender, weather and other information.

Apple has also expanded and its cloud storage, to provide users to store and sync any type of file, not the ones that are designed specifically for iCloud. Mail Drop facility will allow users to send large files. Instead of sending entire file via email and overloading the mail servers, simply click the link and open the whole file.

The default web browser for Mac "Safari", will have more privacy controls and easy ways to share links.

Yosemite will be available freely for user at the end of this year. A version is also available for developers to download, and a different version is also available for selected users for testing purpose.

iPhones and iPads:

This new iOS 8 software will feature interactive notifications, that will allow users to instantly check the incoming messages without leaving another app.

There will be new amazing gestures, just double tap the screen and chat with the people with whom you communicate the most.

Another "Quick Type" feature provides various suggestions. If type "I want to go to", then it suggests you words such "dinner" or "movie" or any other proper phrases.

A "do not disturb" swipe feature will stop displaying any notification, and other feature "tap-to-talk" will record and send the audio messages to the desired recipient and you don't need to type.

The new iOS update will arrive in the market with launch of new devices, most probably in the second week of September 2014.
