Xolo has launched its new Android
smartphone 8X-1000, its first smartphone powered with octa-core
processor.
Xolo has also introduced a new software
user interface known as "HIVE UI". This HIVE feature is an
interface rendering apps and services designed exclusively by Xolo's
software development team or freelanced developers hired by the
company.
The first impression of Xolo 8X-1000 is
just like any other low budget smartphone. It has a rectangular shape
with not much rounded corners and a beautiful glass back. To protect
it from the scratches and other physical damages, the company has
provided Corning Glass 3 at the back and Asahi Dragontrail glass at
the front of the phone.
Check-out other details of Xolo 8X-1000:
The thickness of the phone is 7.9mm
with two ejectable trays on both sides for sim card and microSD card.
It has also got a 8 megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front
camera. It's a little disappointment that Xolo has a low capacity
battery of 1920 mAh, but it could have provided a better one.
Xolo 8X-1000 is powered by Android 4.4
(Kitkat) operating system occupying its own HIVE UI interface. It has
also implemented customized elements in the OS such as quick setting
toggles, app launcher, gallery and media apps etc.
