Market tech giant Sony
unveils Alpha II camera, which is an updated version Alpha 7 a
mirror-less full-frame camera. The camera was announced it Japan last
week, now they are releasing it in U.S.
Sony has enhanced the
current internal features of Alpha 7 II providing a boost in the
stabilization system, enhanced faster auto-focus, and a better
support for high bitrate XAVC S video.
It's the first time, that
a mirror-less camera is paired with a full-frame sensor. There's a
stabilization system that corrects the lens on 5 axes, and works with
the lenses providing integrated stabilization.
This camera can also work
with those lenses that aren't manufactured by Sony, for example if
you attach third party native camera lens like Carl-Zeiss with the
help of a mechanical adapter, then still the stabilization system
will work to continue. It's required to provide the focal length of
the lens to the camera.
The Alpha 7 II's autofocus
is enhanced and now it's 30% more faster than it's predecessor. It
has also an improved tracking system that allows camera to focus for
every shot 5fps rate.
The Alpha 7 II is
currently priced at $1,699, the same as the Alpha 7, but only the
body else $1,999 alongwith 28-70mm lens. The body of original Alpha
7 is available at a reduced price of $1,299 or $1,599 with 28-70mm
lens.
